Snell creates dynamic compositions with spaces that shift between dimensional space and purely textural surfaces… an approach that allows for improvisation and chance discoveries. The act of creation is central to the content of his work where kinetic energy is tangible and a variety of textures is developed with custom tools and multiple applications of material. “My objective is to maintain a fierce connection with the developing work that is raw as well as elegant.”
